how fast does the epoxy dry, because i think i'm going to have to hold it or put pressure on the sides where the lip curves, because it bulges out a bit and duct tape won't hold it.

15-20mins to stick. and yes this is why you need a friend to help hold the bulging corners in. also have to make sure the lip is straight the entire time. ooooo the fun!

i duct taped the front on the other day and i realized it's going to be tough. Maybe the wifey will help! I have the sides ready to go too, and i think they'll be really easy compared to the front.

i did the sides by myself and 15 clamps. however the front and rear cltypeslow helped me out on holding everything in alignment. it will feel like an eternity sitting there waiting for the epoxy to set but be patient and don't let it spread to create a wide seam. you will hate yourself later as you are chipping out that black cement.
i know we will get to see some messy, crooked lips here soon. FYI i do not have any experience in removing an epoxy glued lip from a bumper. actually i don't even know if it will come off.

i just bolt on the rear lip rite to my rear bumper. cus the lip has these flaps that stick out underneath to the bumper, so i just drill a few holes underneath the edge of the bumper and bolt that shit rite on. no need for clamps or epoxy.

you'll still have to cut the rear into 3 pieces like the front. It will strech the lip too much if you don't. I've really been taking my time measuring. I made a template to ensure it's even all around and i need to make one for the flare.
Mr2fast, i'm using a wings west lip from the 2nd gen TL (minus the hideous flaps). The rest of the kit is the oem TL kit.

I bought my lip already modified to fit the CL. Here is a pic of the inside so you can see where the previous owner cut it to fit.

Trim the flaps that go into the grill so it can go in further.

I still see some of the lip hitting the edge of the grille.

BTW, if you remove too much material you can always blend it in with body filler. Dont be scurred.
