Help-Throttle Body Cleaning-Car Won't Start

Just like the title says.

I had some free time today so I tore apart the throttle body and gave it a good cleaning. I put everything back together exactly as before and I go to crank the car the first time and it starts but sputters dead after a second.

I've tried cranking it about 5 different times but it won't turnover.

I pulled everything back apart and double checked my work, everything is in the right place.

Is it possible I broke something?

Thanks for the help.

wont turn over at all? Like, no clicking? I'm not being an ass, just recheck the battery connections. Or when you were cleaning the TB, is it possible fluids leaked onto the alternator? The coolant lines could have discharged onto the alt...

A small amount of coolant did leak out, I made sure to put something underneath to catch the majority. As for the battery, its nice and secure, I thought the same thing. And also all power works perfectly inside my car. I turned on every device (A/C, wipers, radio, lights) and there was no power lag.

I just hope I didn't F-up the Map sensor or something. But I figured the car should still turn over. The sound isn't a struggling startup sound, its strong, it wants to turn over, but there is a reason why its not?

Did you pull the battery before doing this? If not it's possiable you shorted something.

Yes, I pulled the battery.

Thanks for the suggestions, but after about 10 more cranks and a puff of smoke from the throttle body it started up.

I guess some of the seafoam I used to clean the throttle body found its way into one of the sensor holes or something like that and was causing some sorts of problems.

But now it seems to be running nice and smooth and acceleration seems better. I love a nice clean throttle body.

Thanks again for the suggestions.
