HELP! For those of you who installed XM control module in your sunglass holder...
I just bought the XM Commander and want to install it in the sunglass holder.
I have the radio out, I just need to run the wires from the XM unit to the radio. Can anyone guide me through this? Which side should I run it (driver's/passenger's)?
Also, after researching I read that I should buy the blitzsafe HON/XM DMX DEL V.1 adapter to attain digital sound quality. Is this all I need in addition to what I got with the Commander?
Looking for help quick, my car is apart.

The fm modulator kit will give you great sound (no fuzz) and has a direct wire for your power so its not always plugged into your cigarette lighter. you can pick it up from best buy for 29.99 and they can do a complete install for $71.99 (maybe a little higher for where you are mounting the unit)

Ok, talked to Craig at streeteffectz and ordered the Blitzsafe adapter. He was very helpful.
Now, I guess my question is now:
a) Is there any tricks to removing the sunglass holder / headliner / passengers a-pillar
b) Where do you mount the XM reciever / wiring? Behind the glove box? If so, how do you remove that?
c) How hard is it to route the XM antenna to the front of the dash while keeping a seamless, clean, no wire look.
Thanks

yah they used the blitzsafe adapter, better sound then the fm modulator, sounded like almost cd quality and cooler to use... double tap the cd button and then the xm is running!!!

If you don't want to mess with the antenna being seen at all then install it above the sunglass tray. The A-pillar pieces snaps off w/o a problem, but I'm not sure how they routed the wires behind the glove box.
