Help taking a look at a CL-S, in Michigan

I have been looking, online, and talking with a guy in Michigan about a CL-S that I think has promise. I have been trying SO hard to find one that is black on tan and not wrecked or raced out. Is anybody in the Dewitt, Michigan area that could help me out by taking a look at it personally for me, time and gas is on me. This is a big purchase for me, and likely I will have to ship the car since I am in Flagstaff, AZ. I have done this many times with other cars in the (that's how I managed to find my Acura Legend Coupe LS 6MT) but of course, can't really pull the trigger on it without someone's honest opinion.

Either way, let me know, my number is 480-980-6345. Also, I know this is early in my posting history, I just jumped over here from acura-legend.org. I figure since I have always been an Acura/Honda guy, I might as well join in here

Is that the only color you're looking for?

My favorite color combo for that car is probably Anthracite Metallic, followed by black/tan. Unfortunately, dark colors work better for me with CL's...so, yeah, I was looking at anthracite and blacks...which I know are limiting factors for sure.

Anthracite is better IMO. Especially in AZ.

Dont want to travel further? Or have a car shipped? If you find one, Im sure a member that is local wouldnt mind checking it out for you. I personally wouldnt have a problem looking at one for you if its local. We all know what to look for and how the car should behave.

FWIW, enclosed transport from FL to TX cost me $775. Good luck in your search.

I just checked Autotrader and found this one, black/tan/6speed, $8500 located in TX. Not many pics but looks decent and only 68K miles on it.

^ That's the one I started the post about I was hoping somebody in Michigan, nearby, could take a look at it for me. I don't mind doing it that way, in fact that's how I got my Legend 6MT

I can cover gas and whatnot, so far, that one in Michigan and another one at a dealer in are the ones I am considering. I really like the black on tan, reminds me of my Legend

Hmm...well, I was going to edit that but it's not like acura-legend.org, so I'll just quick post, anyway, yeah, I have been in contact with the seller of the one in Michigan for the last two weeks I just can't pull the trigger on the car without someone seeing it first. Also, there is another one in Texas, at a dealer, that looks really decent with ~110k miles...not the salvaged one. If any of you guys are near the Michigan one, let me know

I dont know of anyone thats active in Michigan. Ask here:

https://acurazine.com/forums/midwest-312/

There are bound to be more 3G owners on AZine, but they should still be able to give you a good idea about the car.

If it was closer to Metro Detroit I'd check it out for you, but its 2+ hours away and I really dont have the spare time right now.

If the seller could meet somewhere halfway like Novi I could check it out for you. I just cant dedicate 5+ hours to do it, as my work/personal schedule is crazy for the next month.
