I'm installing an alarm and autostart on my car but having problem finding the tach wire. If you know, please help .. I think V-AFC owners would know. Thanks in advance.

 

Did you ever find that wire? If so, what color was it, and where abouts did you locate it? Thanks.

I'll check the service manual to be sure, but the tach wire on every Honda/Acura I've ever worked on was solid blue.

If you want I have the Helms and will bring it over this weekend and let you xerox the pages you need. I have the electronics/wiring schematics manual as well). Let me know.

 

I have the HELM ... it's just I couldn't find the tach wire labeled anywhere. I think I found it this morning ... I'll have to check to be sure.

When I installed the V-AFC everything came from the ECU below the passanger side. I don't remember the color but the helm book along with the V-AFC wire diagram for the accord gave me all the info I needed.
