help with reverse mirror

i have a issue with my passenger mirror when u put it in reverse it used to go down so i can see the curb but ever since i got it back from the bodyshop this feature does not work its all connected properly is there a way to reset or reprogram this feature ??

To reset check owners manual, it will work.

Here you go, I looked it up. Turn ignition on. Slide mirror toggle to "R" (right side mirror". This toggle switch is on the drivers door armrest. Adjust mirror normally. Then move switch to the center position. Mirror will now move downward in reverse.

Just to double check the obvious - Is the left/right mirror switch in the middle?

yes.... i did as it says above i got in turn the key to ignition placed the swith to the right adjusted the mirror then put it back in the middle position i turned the car on and tried to reverse mirror did not move in the middle or any other position

Man sorry to hear that. Most likely u have a broken unit. Go to the dealer or do a seach on AZ.

only good for not curbing your wheels... if your an experienced driver its not that big of a deal.

You could always disconnect the battery (negative terminal) to reset... just make sure you have your radio code since you'll need that after disconnecting power...

Might work, might not, but it's easy and cheap thing to try...

Thanks ChuckCL-S. Until I read this thread I had forgotten that the CL-S did this.
