HELP QUICK!! [please :( ] --Will 18x8 +45 work w/comptech Drop????!

Hey, I'm helping my friend order rims 4 his TL-S and he wants a rim that is 18x8 w/a +45 offset rolloing on 225/40/18 tires. Will that work, esp. since he will def. drop the car w/comptech springs? thanks guys a response ASAp would be greatly appreciated

Would that same setup work on a CL-p with an off set of 47?

thanks 4 responding guys  I know that 18x7.5 w/+45 would work w/o a hitch but I wasn't 2 sure abt the 18x8 w/that same offset. I'll go ahead and order them for my friend, pics will be posted up soon

p.s. Adam, I tried ur advice regarding removing the silicone and it didn't work, I'm gonna buy some Simple green later this week. Also, one of the headlites don't fit flush w/the front bumper, and leaves a noticeable gap/opening... is it possible u cut off some of the original rubber when doing my headlites? thanks man

dude, this thread belongs in a seinfeld episode, with your name being unsure and the question being what it is all, kinda funny because you asked the question that defines your, uh, never mind. I have a 43 offset and 18"/7.5" rim if that helps.

i think your just gonna make it...

if anything theres gonna be minor rubbing, that is fixable with rolling fenders..

i got 18x7 with 42 offset, 226/40/18 with comptech/h&r drop, and i rub VERY LITTLE..

your basically 1 inch wider!!..BUT u have 3 mm more offset than me AND the TL-S has a bit more room i believe...

so we will have to wait and see..
