Help! Problems with Tein SS

hey i just installed tein ss coilovers in my 01 type s and it rides like a dream now... but theres one problem...it seems that my hood wont close because my engine or radiator is too high. Can someone help me with this problem??? any suggestions??? any help is greatly appreciated thanks guys

Sounds like something went wrong with the install. I don't recall anyone else with this problem. maybe you left a tool somewhere in the engine bay.

Your hood or radiator should raise when you drop your car.

I agree with titand, check for loose tools under the hood.

check also to see if the top of the struts are sitting higher then usual.

The radiator and engine are generally bolted to the frame of the car .. when you drop the car it drops too. I can't imagine why the hood wouldn't close. like they said, check for tools left under. or maybe you moved the screw things the hood sits on

there are rubber stoppers on both sides of the hood, right above the headlights...

adjust them.

You shouldn't be driving around like that. You could lose your hood.

Did you get the EDFC? If you installed it, the hood won't close.

also i only have them installed in the front for now because i didnt finish...could that be the problem??

whats up man! I figured that was you...I'm the one with the white CL..I cant even tell whats the problem. It does seem like something shifted. Why didn't you finish your rear?

yeah i think something with the frame might have gone wrong...thanks for commin by to help fix the problem...i woulda finished the rear but chichi was kinda tired so i was like we'll just finish it next week you know? by the way man your white cl is hella clean!

I don't know man...I want to drop my car more but I'm rubbing in the back. I need to get my fenders rolled then I'll probably drop it lower. Well hopefully we can figure something out next weekend.
