What kind of primer and paint do I need? I figure I could use anything.. but is the high temperature ones needed?

ive never used primer before, i don't think it's necessary...just get some fine sandpaper to lightly sand down the chrome before u paint it..and high temperature flat black spray paint will work...you also might want to get a lot of masking tape if you want to make it look like the '03..the blinker well is all chrome, so you're going to have to tape off most of it...unless you want to paint all that black as well..your choice

 

i didnt use primer either painted mine agean blue pearl.

 

There is no need to use primer. Sand it down and start painting... Use High Temp paint...

 

evilone do you have any pictures? i want to see what your abp headlights look like..thats what the canadian tl a-spec does correct?
