Dude...your car is under warranty!! Take it to the shop! I see a lot of guys panic on the site about stuff like this. The warranty covers everything except the tires.

Yeah, I'm sure that little LCD is probably a pretty easy thing to replace.

I don't need your input, Tom. I have had FOUR Acuras and I have NEVER paid a DIME for ANYTHING that broke during my warranty period. This includes gauges, lights, door latches, a TAPE DECK at 40K miles, and a few other things that I can't even remember. I would be willing to wager that if this guy takes his CL into the shop and says that his LCD on his clock is out, they will replace it without question.

Never said you did. I was simply trying to say that you are wrong to say that everything except tires is covered under the Acura warranty. If people listened to your bullshit, they might just go into their Acura dealer and demand that everything be fixed under warranty. Sorry, but it doesn't work that way. Not everything is covered under warranty.

Once again, you seem to miss the point. I don't give a shit what YOU have done in the past. Just stop telling everyone that EVERYTHING (except tires) is covered under warranty. That is wrong.

But I'd agree that the clock will be under warranty too.
:P

I had the same thing happen to mine. I just smacked the dash a few times with my hand and low and behold it came back on. Try it, what have you got to lose.

All of the showing of testosterone. I think some of you guys need a nap.
