Help....Needles won't move after led gauge conversion!

Help....Needles won't move after led gauge conversion!

I just got done installing my leds in my gauges and after putting everything back together the needle on the rpm and the two needles on the fuel and the temp gauges aren't moving.

What can I do to get this fixed? will the dealer fix it for me for no charge? or no since I installed the leds? I really dont want to have to buy a new cluster, so will yall please give me some info?

yeah everything is plugged in.... seems like the needles dont want to move.

Just pull the needles out alittle bit, It sounds like you pushed them down to hard and they are just stuck Just be very carefull!

dont pull them too hard because then you have to recalibrate the needles and doing that isnt cheap

LOL that was funny well I think that you are a little bit overreacting try taking it out again and mess with the needle then plug and drive if still wont work you are definitely screwed my man

What exactly did you do to the gauges? Did you remove the blue filter behind the gauge face? Maybe you bent the faces up a little too far and poped out part of the needle and it's just stuck (hopefully that's what's happened). Just take them back apart, and using somthing thin, like a platic ruler or a metal file, push the piece right behind the needle back down. Don't pull up on the needle itself, you may pull it out completely, then you're really in trouble.

Doubt it. Unless you can get it back to exactly like it was before and there is no evidence that you messed with it.

Did you try pulling the needles out a bit like someone said?

Yeah I did.... and it worked for the speedo, gas and temp gauges, but the rpms im still messin with.

The guy at the dealer said that the 100k mile warranty is only for the tranny, is this true? For some reason I thought it was the whole car drivetrain.

If all else fails I alread started bidding on a tl gauge cluster so Ill just take the needles outta that and call it a day!

I dont remember who said it, but I dont think any one on here hasn't had some kinda road block with these led converted gauges, but fuck it, it looks damn good!

mostly likely u f*&ked the gauge.the needles are very sensitive when u took it out u could have sug the needle and threw of the counter balance in the gauge. no way to fix it got get one from the dealer the $48.
