Help: Need Tach Wire for Shift Lamp

Anyone with a shift lamp, I need to find the tach wire for it. It's not off the coils, it's somewhere near the shock tower, so I've been told.

its right behind the intake it is a blue wire that goes into a black plug

You can get it from the ECU. Since you have a 6MT it would be the NEP signal on last connector. I don't have my manual here nor did I scan that page (will do it tonight) to tell you the pin out and/or color.
