Best thing to do would be to call Acura Roadside assistance at 1-800-594-8500.

Your remote will not work if the keyts are in the ignition. If at all possible present your VIN number to the local dealer and have them cut a key from the VIN number.Other than that your other option is to call a local locksmith to jimmy the door or attempt to get break into the car.Jens

Since you have the remote, Perhaps you can open the trunk?
This means you can also open up the ski hole/bypass hole thing.

In theory that means you can stick some long ass stick in there
to either pull your keys out, or if you have some kinda crazy flexibility, hit the open door switch.

I know you don’t have NAVI, but I wonder if OnStar would be able to open it in this scenario.

Another thing.
I thought our car was smart enough not to lock the doors with the key in there.

How did you manage to do this ???

He probably hit the lock button on the door.

i recall my old Dodge Stratus, i would not be able to hit the lock button on the door when the key is in and the door is ajar, it was a very thoughtful function.

I think my first gen CL also has this feature, but i am not sure. I didn't think its possible that u can lock the door while the key is in and door is ajar.

Is the car running?

Try to jimmy it, maybe a spare key, if you have it?

I tried once to start my car and then lock it but it wouldn't let me no matter what lock button i pushed. The lock would always pop back up. How'd you do that?

Pull the door handle then lock it. Unfortunately, I've gotten in the habit of doing this... It's probably going to get me into trouble one day.

I got in that habit with my CRX. I locked my keys in the car so often that Allstate Motor Club said they wouldnt come out and help me any more for the year. I think it was like 5 times. You need to break yourself of the habit and use the remote. I haven't locked the keys in the CLS a single time since I got "the button"

I usually carry my spare key with my other keys as a precaution.
