Help My BUTT Is Cold

Just a quick question for all you CL-S owners. I live in the FROZEN TUNDRA and when I start my car in the morning I will flip on the seat warmer. It takes about 4-5 minutes and then I can feel heat but by that time the car is already warm.

All the other cars that I've had with seat warmers and all my friend's seat warmers are hot in the first minute or two. Is this normal for this car or is it just mine??????

I would like your feed back befor I go to the dealer and ask them to look at it.

Thanks for your help.

do this, turn your car on and warm it up and press the but warmers to high and throw like a book or something on the leather to push it down.

I commented to a freind the other day on how fast mine work. It may be because I am in southern Louisiana and do not see the low temps. like you guys.

They do sell small microwavable bean bags. Stuff them in each back pocket as you head out and voila!!

Sorry! Couldn't help it....

Turn the key to II (Accessory I think it's called).
Let it sit there until the gas guage needle rises to wherever your gas level is, then finish turning it to start the car normally.

Letting it sit in Accessory for a few seconds must allow the fuel pump to turn on or something, because it solved the rough-start problem several people here have experienced (including myself), especially when it's cold out.

thakns I'll try that. It was very embrassing when I couldnt start my car yesterday at the parking lot after work while the guy next to me in a 80s dodge shadow started perfectly fine.

It's not that my seats don't get hot. It's that they take for ever to get hot.

Maybe EGGPLANT-EX was right I should stuff two microwave bean bags up my ASS because that seems to be the only thing that will fix my cold butt.

Thanks for your help guys

I'm assuming you're referring to when the car has a hard time turning over and firing up? I've noticed that also... I'll have to try it.

Thanks!
