White/blk/NAvi/Auto - 47k miles - $20k
or
Blk/Blk/NAvi/6-speed - 20k miles - $23k
My past 6 cars have been black/black. Ive owned a manual (eagle TSI) but i dont "love" driving it (NYC driving). The only reason i even looked at the white was that it was with that black leather. I know about the auto-tranny issuses but i think id get sick and bored with driving the 6-speed.
Im also thinking cheaper price gets me in more mods quicker
Thanks for the feedback

How can someone else tell you which tranny you would like better? I prefer the 6 speed and would stay away from Acura's automatics anyway. The white/black combo is rare, but I like the black exterior over the white for looks anyway.

Aye, I agree. It doesnt matter what we think, but you seem to be leaning towards the auto because of your driving area. If you can swing it though, paying 3k more for a car with 27k fewer miles and having the more reliable manual tranny makes a big difference. Not sure about the prices in your area, but you should try to talk them down at least 1-2k. I was able to pickup an '03 Type-S blk/blk auto w/ navi with 37k miles a couple months ago for 18k. Good luck, but you will be happy with which ever one you choose. God invented credit cards for your mods anyway.

i drove a 5-speed ford contour se sport for 5 years. After i totalled it, i found a REALLY nice automatic maxima and recently totalled it. There was no goin back, i just can't buy another automatic. There are just so many small times that it just didn't do what i wanted it to, i just couldn't help but buy another stick. I definitely can't see myself goin back unless something happens that i can't drive one anymore. (just my opinion though). I'd say go for the 6 speed even though black on black isn't my favorite, it'd be worth it for the tranny.

Thanks for the opinons all, much appreciated.
I went to see the white one today and got a final price of 19k - what was suprising was that this car was pretty hooked up already. The guys at the dealership didnt know what they had (comptech headers, comptech front shock tower bar, SS exhaust, crossdrilled rotors, AEM intake). They were pointing at the intake saying it was a turbo .I drove it around and it was pretty sweet riding.
I'll be going to see the 6speed tomorrow (3 hour drive away) and seeing how that one is.
I know the rarity of it. Ive got the list thumbtacked on my cube at work and it was my main search up until i saw that Auto one one listed 2 days ago. I did find 2 6-speed blk/blk (3 and 10 hour drive within my region)
I was influenced from reading this board to only consider a 6 speed for the past month that ive been searching. It was just 2 days ago that i've even had a 2nd thought for an auto. And yea, i was always biased towards the auto.

If you understood the rarity of the six speed and the difference with the car you wouldn't ask the question. Many people would love to get that ride
It almost sounds like our opinion doesn't even matter. If you want the manual, get the manual, but it doesn't sound like you do.
