help hard wiring radar
Hi,
I was wandering if anybody knows which wire I have to tap to get
the power to my radar?
All the instructions suggest to plug into the fuse, but since they supplied
wire tap with the radar, I thought it would be cleaner to do it this
way. But there are so many wires and I dont have a clude which
one is which
ANy help?
Thank you

I had the same problem. I just found it easier to cut the tap off, strip the wire, then take out the heated mirror fuse on the drivers side fuse panel(it's labeled on the cover) wrap the wire around 1 prong of the fuse(doesn't matter which one), & the push the fuse back in. 3 minutes later, it is done.

I also would like to use a wire tap for a cleaner and more secure install. Can anyone with a Helms give us some wire colors?
