Help. Engine Grinding

Started a bit ago.

When over 2K RPM, the engine towards the back valve cover vibrates horribly, amd makes a grinding noise. Even when in IDLE. I thought it was the tranny but doubt it since in idle.

ANY IDEAS? HELP....

Well here is the Update. Dealer Says ...... TRANNY # 4 Being installed. Should be done by Next Tuesday. Man I'm tired of this. Car is torn apart too since I had to run the wire for the XM to my headunit. Then it rained, and then had it towed so I got a Chevy Malibu for a week about.

Thanks for the Info, I didn't read the post with the Number in it. I'll give them a call tomorrow. Thanks for the info. Do you think it would be possible to Lemon Law the car? Then I could get a 6Speed Instead of having to deal with the Auto Trans... ?
