HELP!!! AEM Intake Troubles

HELP!!! AEM Intake Troubles

For those of you who have the aem cai i need your help....the rubber mounts that screw into the car broke....they just ripped apart in the middle and not my intake is just vibrating and moving a lot....what should i do.....thanks...-Tom

Home depot or Lowes has thick rubber mounts in their specialty hardware section. I would get one of those and a metric bolt the same size that fits into the mount and use that set-up. Put a flat washer on either side of the rubber and mount as normal.

That should fix it.

thanks for the answer...looks like i will be hittin up home depot tommorw......should i contat AEM just to bitch???

Tom, when I installed mine it also snapped. Just call AEM and they will send you a new one. In the meantime, I'm sure you want your cai installed asap so as nparker said, go to home depot.
