Hello, newbie here!

Hi all,

First off, thanks for reading my thread. I just sold my 96 cobra and bought cl-s auto. I'm trying to grow up and shake my white trash roots.

I Guess I can't go to the Corral.net anymore.

So far I love it, plenty o'power, drives very nice, great seats, etc. It's not as fast as the Cobra (13.55@105 stone stock) but it is much more fun to drive, and I'm not so ashamed of my ride.

So anyway, it's good to be here and I hope to learn and contribute here.

---Josh

Welcome and congrats on the CL. Many people on this board will not agree with your "shame". Cobras are awesome. They do EXACTLY what they were made to do...go fast. The CL is quick, but not Cobra quick. The Cobra is nice, but not CL nice.

Edit: Did you get the Auto or 6-Spd??

I got the auto. It was a reeeaaallly tough choice. It came down to the traffic here. The commute around D.C. is hellish. So I thought I would give an auto a chance for a while.

I see you're from Seattle. My wife's parents are in the process of selling their home and moving there.

Make sure they're aware of the 9 months of over-cast weather we have out in the great NW. It gets depressing.

Welcome to another DC area CL owner!

Keep your head low, and avoid white vans!
