Hello & Factory Warranty?
What's going on people? Hello to all.
I am the new owner of a 2003 3.2 CL. 17Kmiles for $16k.
My question is does the factory warranty still apply to my car? I bought it from a small car dealership not an Acura dealership. I purchased a warranty that covers the Engine, Tranny, and Differential but I can still cancel it if I am still under the factory warranty. If I am still covered how do I go about activating it incase I need it in the future which I think I will. I keep reading about this bad transmission. I would love to save $1280 if the factory warranty is still good.
Is there a page or link for newbies? I want to start modding in a few weeks and I want to know what things I need to do first before I blow my egnine?

Welcome and congrats.
You need to call the 800 Acura # and give them the VIN #. They will tell you exactly your warranty expiration date, or if for some reason the factory warranty is voided (salvage title etc). I don;t trust dealers to tell me this, esp if they are the seller.
PS - Your 48 months will probably run out before your mileage does, the car could be 2 years old already.
