Not much...

I'm not all that big into modding cars. I think the most worthwhile thing I've done is replaced the stock tires. That's one thing ALL members will compain about. It's a must do when you get the car.

Other than that, you can see what I've done in my sig.

It's a great car... You'll love every bit of it!

really , so the tires are a pain , something tells me there michellins, ??? am i right?? hmm...

I am aiming for a 2001 or 2002 cl-s , but I doubt I will get the 5 speed cause I think those were only 2003 and i can't afford it brand new , well actually I could but I don't really want to go that route...
do you have the 6 speed, or the auto with sport tranny , ..

The 6spd is new for 2003. So all 2001 and 2002 CLs are of the auto flavor.

I wouldn't mind a manual tranny, but I think my wife would. Hence I didn't wait for the 03 and got the 02.

What he said . . .

And if you have a heavy foot, you'll be changing the front tires after 12,000 mile anyway. :P

speedyronin, i see your on your second tranny, if that one goes too, does that mean your car is considered a lemon, and you are can get all your money back?

there is probably a law somewhere that says it's technically a lemon, but i don't think the lawsuits and such are worth the hassle. right now my car is still under warranty at 34k miles and i'm actually expecting it to go out again before the 50k warranty is up. i didn't have to pay anything last time, but i did have to wait until AFTER the tranny blew to get a simple "there's something wrong with your transmission." there's been a few recent threads on this board that says honda of america might extend the drivetrain warranty for free, but who knows. worst comes to worst, i'll be paying 2g's max for the full extended warranty, which is well worth it if my tranny goes out five more times.

New to the board here too... tons of great info around these boards (and some good humor as well). We just picked up our CL S last week and love it. Hope you find something that suits ya.

Scrib, I got around that one the easy way:
I made her test drive the slushbox first.
I asked her to humor me and drive the 6 spd. Pulling hard out of the dealership, she already had a evil grin... SOLD

Nihil,

Smart move. My wife does not drive manual, so it was a hard sell. I had to beg for 2-3 weeks before she said OK.
