Heeltoe Automotive takes over all ATLP operations! Something for everyone inside!

Hi folks, you may or may not have heard, but in December of last year Heeltoe and ATLP struck a deal to consolidate all manufacturing, advertising, r&d, sales...pretty much everything under Heeltoe's control.

That means, "Mike from ATLP" is a person in the past now, and for all ATLP concerns you'd contact us, Heeltoe! support@heeltoeauto.com would be the correct contact email to use.

You can read up on the background and get an exclusive limited time ATLP coupon code for 8% off all ATLP products by clicking on the banner below:

ATLP site...is going to change. I don't know how or when the change will occur, but for now, it will be best to think of Heeltoeauto.com as your source for ATLP parts and info.

What should you expect out of this, on a personal level?

1- We are going to make a real effort to keep all 3G TL products in stock and ready to ship when you are ready to buy. It will take time to build up inventory, but we are expecting to have parts ready to go by the end of February! WE ARE TAKING PRE-ORDERS NOW. As typically happens with 3G parts, they sell out before production is done. So get an order in early. Even though we WANT to stock stuff, that has been a challenge for ATLP in the past because of the high demand.
1b - We have a whole PILE of roof spoilers here that came with the company purchase. We have tagged them with a new low price of $199 on heeltoeauto.com. This spoiler is a significant addition to the looks of the TL and has been really sought after for a few years now. Order online now to get in on the new price! (the design has changed slightly from the spoiler in the image, and the image will be updated soon. To be put on an email list to be notified when the new image is up, please email me here [marcus@heeltoeauto.com] with the subject line "3g TL roof spoiler - *your screen name*")

2- We are going to do another production run of RDX exhausts, and with any luck will have a downpipe available by Summer----ALL DEPENDENT ON CUSTOMER DEMAND. RDX systems have been slllloooooowwww to sell. Perhaps this was due to low stock...perhaps there aren't many RDX customers. Either way we are getting some activity in our email for RDX systems, so I have put them on Heeltoeauto.com. Production will be demand based. In other words, ORDER on our site to get the ball rolling! The collective orders will cue us to make parts!

3- 2g TL exhausts....hot, then cold. We love this system but there simply aren't enough buyers to keep them consistently produced. That is why we are planning to adapt the kit for use on 2G CLs AND TLs! This way we have two great systems that we use the same mufflers and pipes for (just different lengths and hangers as needed) and we can have more products available! have a 2G CL or TL and like this idea? Let me know by emailing me HERE (marcus@heeltoeauto.com) with the subject line "2g TL/CL exhaust - *your screen name*"

4- RL middle pipes. We are going to be marketing this product very soon as well. We've heard about some nice gains with it, and would love to see some more RLs in our customer stable! Get ready for a promo soon!

5- 2nd Gen TSX...we'd LOVE to make an exhaust for this car. If you'd like to get on the contact list for a system on this car, please email me at marcus@heeltoeauto.com with the subject line "2g TSX exhaust - *your screen name*"

For now, that is what we got going on.

Here is a link to heeltoeauto.com for all the ATLP products that are for sale now. Remember, stock is low now but we'll be working hard to get production rolling and ship items as fast as we can.

We are looking forward to a really exciting 2011 and this ATLP deal really is encouraging for us. Let's take this brand to new heights by continuing the outstanding quality, fit, sound and now with the legendary Heeltoe Automotive Customer Service you've all come to know and love!

With the way you run things at heeltoe, I would say this is a good move for you, atlp AND forum members. Congrats!

Ditto..

I always wanted the quad exhausts though but didn't know how they would have looked.

But congrats on the acquisition of ATLP.

We will need some real support for the CL community to make it work, so we'll see. We have 2 interested people in the TL side so that helps.

Yes sorry, the J-pipe and the middle pipe are part of the same kit. It's like 3/4 of a cat back plus a j-pipe.

They are awesome. Look and sound great with a real Euro flair. The gains are usually in the 8-13 range but we'd need to do a specific dyno on this. Should you change??? Its up to you man. ATLP is pretty high end and you can't just get them whenever you feel like it.

Pricing for the CL can be referenced on Heeltoeauto.com (look under 2g TL, it will be the same)

I would be interested in the exhaust for the cl depending on what is offered and time wise when it is ready. Will there only be one option of buying the full system for 1k, or will you offer up just the mid pipe cause I would prefer to keep my comptech mufflers.

I can have a good shop make me a custom mid pipe for a few hundred, so have to weigh these 2 options. I honestly cant see too many cl owners dropping over a grand on exhaust. Noone is willing to spend over 500 for a body kit, let alone double that for exhaust.

If we don't get interest parts won't be made, it's that simple. We'd only be making a complete cat-back. And it would cost about $1000. So if there isn't a market we'll understand. But at the same time there aren't tons of great options out there...this is by far the classiest part that will be available.

Of course getting a muffler shop to slap together a pipe isn't hard. I'm surprised you guys looking at doing that are even posting here.

One thing is for sure, none of YOU is going to get one. Not with this lack of encouragement/support. I am getting emails from serious people and have 2 each from TL and CL people already.

If the mid-pipe is really the thing to do we can tackle that, but I want to see how a complete system would pan out.

^x2

we are trying to show you reality that i doubt u find even 5 ppl that will buy exhaust for $1000
i personally wouldnt spend that much money on that, $600-700 tops

we appreciate that you trying to do something we really do but im just telling u that there is no market for it...

we dont have midpipe... high flow cat and midpipe with nice resonator would be perfect for the right price and you would find more ppl for it... direct fit and reasonable price also not bad sound... can you do that ?

So, basically a high flow cat, a test pipe, and a mid pipe that mates to OEM or CT mufflers is the way to go on a CL...that's more in line with what you are thinking.

I would say pricing for those options would be:

Metal Cat = $330
Test Pipe = $160
B-Pipe to Mufflers = $395-495, with a resonator probably $150 more.

I doubt it would sound better than the mid pipe with comptech mufflers.

"That is why we are planning to adapt the kit for use on 2G CLs AND TLs! This way we have two great systems that we use the same mufflers and pipes for (just different lengths and hangers as needed) "

This is just the parts for another car adapted to fit our car, its not like it is being engineered for our cars and sound tested like they do on ferrari's etc. So basically this is a pieced together kit.

I am still interested in the mid pipe tho.

Sound Better???? That is a matter of opinion.

I think you are just trying to make a point here, so I am going squash it. Saying the CL and TL are different cars is like saying a Civic and a CRX are. They are, but for all practical intent and purposes with respect to the exhausts, they are close enough to be the same. It isn't going to be a pieced together kit we are talking about here.

REMINDER, if you are interested in a CL exhaust follow the email link in the original post and let us know!

TL and CL headers and B-pipe are the same. The difference is the mufflers.

I honestly think it would be cheaper for you to sell the b-pipe separately and for those that want the mufflers, weld them up to order.
