Heater won't blow hot air checklist.

1. Checked heater core for cloggage and it was kinda gross. No solid chunks but coolant was just kinda discolored, a little bit soupy looking. Flushed heater core 3Xs, replaced with clean new coolant.

Now what?
The round cold/hot tempature knob?
Thermo fan switch? http://shop.advanceautoparts.com/buy...-201-1650.html

What should be a checklist?

have someone turn the knob from hot to cold and back while you look under the hood on the passengerside near the firewall. There is a small valve that should operate when the person turns the temp knob. If that isnt moving that is your issue.

I'd run HVAC self diagnose. Might just pinpoint it.

This. Most common issue for heater inoperative issue on 2G TL's (as well as earlier Honda's also).

If valve isn't moving, you might have a bad heater valve linkage actuator (electro-mechanical component that's controlled by the HVAC control head). If it is moving the valve, the heater valve may be stuck closed. If this is the case, try replacing the valve or even bypassing the valve with a heater hose splice kit just for testing.

Try the cheap one, or check the price on our online vendors website. OEM parts are a LOT cheaper online.
