Actually the heated seats on the 6mt are automatically regulated. They are on high at 1st then power on & off to regulated the heat.

Yes they do shut themselves off to keep from overheating but there's no high and low on the 6-speed is the point. I just turn it on til the seat is nice and warm, then I turn it off and my butt keeps it warm enough after that (once the heater is blowing in the car seems to be enough for me).

Damn, this is one thing I like better on my auto

I usually use the low setting if I use the heated seats.

^ Yup, I agree
Low keeps the back warm, High makes the butt warm too and I do not like that feeling. Feels like I shit my pants

haha.

I usually hit high until it's warm then leave it off, so i probably wouldn't have a problem with the 6mt heater. Want to trade cars brainfuct?

thats what i like about my legend, it has like 6 postions for the seat heater, i usually keep it at around 3 (this is back when i drove it in the winter) all winter, then first few days of warmness, always wondering why my seat is so hot, lol!!

LOL, I get that all the time when I have girls in the car, when it's cold out I usually put it on for them as a courtesy. Then a few minutes later (Ok, why is my ass on fire?) ha-ha

seat back for driver's side heats up.

i could buy the whole heating element and replace but its like 200 a piece. cheap way is to solder, either way is lots of work.
