heated seats

hey i was wondering if anyone might be able to help me trouble shoot....i got my cl in april and i live in south texas so i never get to use my heated seats...well it got chilly today and i decided to turn them on to see what they were like...well the driver seat was super toasty and the pass seat well...it never turned on or warmed up at all i checked all the fuses and such and they seemed fine and the power on the seat works cause the sucker moves when you push the buttons...any ideas?

It may just be the wiring in the seat itself. I know my drivers seat has recently gone, both the butt and the back warmers were working fine, now just the butt warmer is working... well i'm chalking it up to the wiring anyway...

if its still under warranty of course, take it to the dealer. Keep in mind that the passenger seat only heats the bottom and not the lower back like the driver's. (I dont know if you already knew that, just saying because you might have felt the passenger seat's lower back part with your hand.)

They break all the time. My driver's side only has the butt working and only on High. I'm taking it back next week. Hope they fix it this time.

The fuse for the heated seats is different than the power seat fuses, so ur power seats would work anyways. The heated seat fuse is on the passenger side fuse box. Did you check those?

There is no Acura dealer in South Texas, closest is San Antonio, Houston, or Austin depending where CLtypeSLOW lives...bad name too, my CLS is fast, baby. don't know what model CLS you have.
The 03 has a little bit different heaters with only one heat setting, toasty! Remember the passenger bottom only heats up, the driver both back and bottom heat up.
I thought I'd never use the heaters in TX too, but you'd be surprised. Feels good on your back if you have a muscle ache too.
If Austin is closest to you try Sterling Acura on south I-35.

Woah now, before you take it in......were you feeling the back rest of the passenger's seat for heat? Only the bottom of the pass side seat heats up. Acura says it's because of some sensor for the airbag....but it's cost cutting
