Heated Seat issue

Hey, I know its summer but i forgot to mention it before...
my drivers side seat seem to stop working all of a sudden last winter... is there anything i can check myself about this? maybe a fuse or???

I think the fuse is on the passanger side. Is the passanger side working, because I think the fuse controls both. Are the lights on when it's switched on? It could also be the coils.

you could call the factory and ask for the stock resistance of the heating pad and perform a resistance check on it, but chances are if it's not the fuse or switch the pad is blown. common problem. i need to replace mine....and my seat leather...

Yup chances are the pad has a short in it. Mine driver's side has been out for at least a year. Too lazy to rip my seat apart to change it.

the passanger side works, but the drivers side doesnt...
and both lights are on also

im pretty sure im covered until 100,000 i know i paid for it when i bought the car
