Heated Seat

my heated seat on the driver side only works in the LOW setting... the passenger one is fine.... My driver side heated seat might not work at all, but it seems to only work on low... is there anything I can do? any fuses or anything like that?
Kyle.

Ok - so I'm guessing an 01 cls... since you don't post details. I had one and the high low setings worked fine except... the heat was only in the seat, not in the back. My wife has a TL with heat in the back too... so this used to really piss me off. Hot ass, cold back. I now have an 03 cls and I notice both seat and back are heated... nice

I suppose this doesn't help you with your problem. My guess would be the switch. Theheating element is the same... just less power going to it on the low position. (Don't have this poblem on the 03... only one heat setting

Alright, now I'm confussed. I just bought an 01 CL-S about 4mo ago and the drivers sideheats both high and low / butt and back but the passenger side only heats high and low for you butt. Is the way it should be or should the passenger side heat both butt and back. You all let me know as my car is under warrenty. Thank you

I think that's the way it's supposed to be. The passenger seat has some airbag equipment in it, preventing it to have both backrest and seat bottom heaters. (someone correct me if I'm wrong)

I can't speak for the TL, but the passenger seat heater in the CL is arse only-no back. Hey, at least both seats are power.

My 01 CLS (retired) did not have a heated back... arse only. My 03 does have a heated back... for sure on the driver side... don't know about the pass side as I don't sit there
