Headroom

Just got my new ride, San Marino red Type S. I am average build ( six foot ) I could use more headroom, and yes, the seat is all the way down. No mods yet, plan on headers/exhaust. Not too sure about CAI.
Any thoughts.
Thanks

Congrats on your purchase!!
I'm 6-0 and find that if the seat ht. is all the way down to the floor and the tilt is back about 70 degress, it fits me fine. It's worth getting the CAI for that extra kick, I plan to install my red AEM on Sat.
There are a lot of pics on this site to see
what others have done to their ride.

Good luck

Hey Jayru, motel rooms are cheap. Besides, would you want a cop busting you on the downstroke??, speaking from experance, it's no fun.

I just purchsed the CL. When I test drove it I wasn't really check for head room for some reason I was just looking at everything else. I pick up the Car July 2nd i'm wondering at 6'3"-6'4" am I going to feel tight in the car. I mean too late I bought the car already but I know I couldn't fit in a lot of coupes and I fit in this but wasn't really checking for head room, anyone around my height fine with the cars headroom.

Until you drive the car off the dealers lot you have not taken delivery, so you can infer from that what I am saying. I suggest you go to the dealer , sit in the car and adjust the seat back to a 70 degree angle, you may be ok. If not, I know for a fact that the TL has ample headroom. The dealer should not have a problem with you taking a tl instead.

I am 6'2" and most of my height is in my upper torso. My inseam is 33" so you can tell. I have no headroom problems but my seat back is tilted somewhat. Not uncomfortably but it is tilted.

I always thought that headroom was the distance between the bottom of the steering wheel and your crotch.

When I was in the Army (101 st Airborne/Airassult 158 avn bn) I was interupted by an MP (military police) while on the down stroke. Ripped my pants while trying to get them on, it was quite embarrasing, but I am over it know.
