Headlights Wipers?

Hey guys... got a question here.
Why dont the Acura CLs have headlight wipers?
I ask this because i was filling up at a gas station today.. and i remeber thinking last night how dull my lights looked compared to my memory.... when a 540 passed me on the George Bush Turnpike last night... well i just used the windshield wiper thingie at the gas station to wipe my lights and oh my!!! what a difference...
I know people will say wash your car more.. but it is Dallas and our weather is so unpridictable.... so i was just curious .. since it really wouldnt be that more expensive to add those to the car.
Let me know your thoughts guys.
Thanks.

Don't know if I want them. I imagine the washer fluid all over the hood. Audi's have some of those I believe, do they make a mess?

A telescopic streering wheel would be much higher on my wish list...

i think they'd look too out of place on our cars. i think they'd look more appropriate on an RL. actually, the high-pressure spray wash the Audi's have would look pretty cool on the CL... definetely not the wipers though

I NEVER use the headlight washers on my other car - they make a BIG MESS all over the hood and sides. I definately would not use them on my CL!

The sprayer on the Audi make a big mess I had the dealer "show me the money" when I was lookin at thwe S4 and the fluid went all over the hood and it irritated me for the rest of my test drive.

I'd say wipers on the headlites would be a big no no.Remember our headlites are plastic so a wiper blade will quickly destroy the surface. On the other hand I like those headlite washer systems on the BMW's etc.I bought a washer pump two nozzles some hose and about two hours of spare time on a Saturday. Now my Civic has headlite washers, and it believe it or not it actually works quite nicely.I tried it out in some of the lousy weather we have been having around New York City lately and this setup does a nice job keeping the crap off the lites. Not bad for five bucks and two hours.Jens
