Ok im looking to change my lights I have a 2001 also. Water gets into them after hard rain. I only find the clear lights. Where can I find the black housing JDM style lights? Are they the 03 lights?

Yup, but just remember...CL & JDM are like oil & water. They don't mix.

@ nf3d0149ab most blacked out mods are JDM for Hondas/Acuras and other Domestics. The 03 headlights is are a JDM style in my book. Sorry for not being politically correct.

Thanks been looking for them all over the place. I'm a noob didn't want to ask too many questions you guys have answered 30x already. I read Ron Jon is looking to do some LED's for 2011 interested in seeing how those will look.

No worries...just wanted to curb your enthusiasm for JDM items because there is no JDM CL.

The '03 headlights were a great OEM mod for my SSM CL.

Expect to pay some money though for the new housings or you can DIY if your good with stuff like that.

The DIY is deff a good way to go if you want to clear out the housings. Can do two things at once. I cleared my '01's and was happy until I saw the cleared '03's and had to have them!

I happen to drink an oil and water shake everyday. Mixes up just fine in the blender

I opened my s2k headlights to do some modding (i grew some balls moving from a CL to an s2k, i was too scared to open up my CL heads to remove the diffuser lol) and it was a major PITA
