I have a cracked headlight lens and was wondering if anyone has attempted to replace just the glass. I figured it would be much cheaper than to buy a whole new unit with the HID ballast. Any options????

 

It's plastic...don't think you could replace with glass.

And if you could...would probably be expensive!

 

you can just buy the headlight housing. no bulbs, no ballasts.

prices are taken from my local dealer, so your dealer will likely have different prices. My suggestion is to go to a local parts recycler to see if they have a headlight for sale. It should be much cheaper then dealers.

lol heck no, they dont sell it like that or else opening them up to clear/bake them would be piece of cake.
