Headlight Dim?

Gang,

This is sort of a crazy question, but have you noticed your stock headlights losing their intensity? Is it just me imagining this?

I have a '01 CL-S.

Xenons should last the life of the vehicle but if you always set off youur stock alarm it flashes your xenons on and off, killing the life dramatically on them. Don't flicker them on and off all the time and they should last.

Another thing is that when you turn them on, they seem very blue/purple. As you let them warm up they become less colorant.

i think its BS that honda makes our HID flash during alarm because thats obvious that its not good for the lights....we should all get free HID's

I know my drivers side is losing its pinkish color and is looking more white to me. I do not drive with them on either.

also i forgot to mention...if i leave my xenons on and lock my car they automatically turn off...when i come back, and unlock the doors they come on...great. BUT when i get in and start the car w/o turning them off the driver light flashes a violent bright red for a fraction of a second...strange. anyone know what it could be from? the bulbs are OEM and only 6 months old

I used to do that to with my oem and even now with my factory alarm. I always leave my headlights on because when I arm, it will automatically shut off my lights after 10 seconds. Never seen that happen.

The pinkish color?! Do you have like phillips hid bulbs?

My HID"s would flicker when I started the car UNTIL I bought a new battery. Now it doesn't flicker at all when I start the car with the lights already on. Maybe your battery is weak?
