i dont know where some of you fools get this info about 7-10 hp gains with the OBX..thats total bullshit...its not even LOGICAL!! the OBX are the same thing as Comptech with sloppier welds and a different flange. thats it. i can say beyond a shadow of a doubt that the OBX gains produce HIGH gains and i am probably one of the most skeptical people about performance mods and what the ACTUALLY do....i had a CAI for about 2 weeks, CAI "supposedly" puts up 5-10 WHP...personally i think thats BS, i think if a CAI does 5-7 WHP thats ALOT. and not only that, but i didnt feel a damn thing....anyone who says they can actually FEEL a CAI with no other mods is dreaming. these OBX headers produce WAAAAY more than 7-10 WHP because the added power is VERY noticable....if CAI does infact add 7-10 HP (which, again, is up for debate) you cant feel it, but the headers you can FEEL without question. the OBX probably have the exact same gains as the Comptech. if the OBX gains are more or less than Comptech, its a very very small and trivial amount.
I have no other performance mods besides the headers, my car ran a 14.8 (see the signature) ill be back here on november 2nd with an updated time with the headers.....that will be proof of their benefit.

UPDATE: Ok... so I've been paying closer attention to how fast the car revs once it is at or above 5500RPM the past few days and now I will admit I do notice a difference.
From what I remember before I had the headers after vtec engaged and the plenum opens the RPM's pretty much increased from that point on at a constant rate.
Now with the headers I do notice that once the RPM's are around 5500 they start to increase at a much faster rate the rest of the way up. The increase after that point is very obvious.... the only reason I think I wasn't noticing anything before is because I didn't think about the fact that the majority of the gains are after 5500. Now that I am paying close attention I do see the difference.
TypesKid, lets still meet up sometime this weekend and put the OBX headers up against the comptech. I sent you a PM BTW.

i said "what do you mean."
she said "its a lot faster"
