They have fixed that problem. I think it was only an issue with the first couple batches.

The original problem is not so much a rattle issue, but a vibraration problem (of sorts). There is a bellows -- similar to the stock exhaust header -- that connects to the rest of the the exaust system.
In the 1st generation Comptech headers, the metal weave, that surronds the bellows, was a bit too tight (restraining). A number of members in conjunction with Comptech used pick like tools to "loosen" the weave. This got rid of the "noise." (This information came from my reading of other member experiences *and* from talking the ears off the very nice Comptech guys.)
Suggestion:
If you have your header installed by someone who puts in new header gaskets, you might want to make sure that you have the header bolts checked for torque in a few weeks after install. One member, needed to have his header re-tightened after a while to "get hist power back." (You probably don't need to do this, but it wouldn't hurt to ask.)
I am thinking of having the dealer install the headers with my oil change to Mobil 1. Then, take the car back in a few weeks (or a month), and have the header hardware re-torqued. The sway bars are not going to be available until the end of March, so I was thinking, why not just kill two birds with one stone (re-torque/check headers and have sway bars installed).
Note: Check with some other folks. I'm very cautious *and* want the job done right the first time. If you are not sure, get the answers you need to make sure you will be happy.
BTW -- you never did give me the name of your installer. It does help all of us to exchange info (just a thought, nobody is twisting arms here.)
