Headers install?

Alright, I have a lift and air tools - can I do this install for the comptech headers myself? If so, what should I know before starting?

no, no, and no again.

I paid $300 to get mine installed. I wouldn't have wanted to mess with it.

From my understanding, its a REaL BITCH.

Took a look and printed it out -- seems pretty simple if you have the right tools and I do. Well, I am going to do it myself and if I do not have any problems I will create a how-to for you guys! thanks for the help!

i did mine a few weeks ago. my buddy helped me. the only difficulty was getting the bolts to tighten, but you just need the right tools to get up in there to do that.

do it yourself, save $300 bux

Hey, let me know how it goes!

I'm seriously thinking about doing this myself too.

The front part looks easy but it's the manifold on the
rear bank that looks like it might be a b#tch!

I have a low-profile air wrench - that should make it easier right?

If you have the tools, then go ahead and do it. It took me just over 2 hours to complete the job. Knowing it is done right is another value point in this matter so it is not just the aspect of saving $300+...

I did a write up over a year ago on the install. You might be able to search back and find it.
