Headers are going on Friday at noon...

I'm so excited, I can't wait to see how big of a difference its going to be!

I already have the AEM CAI, and I'm getting tires next month, as soon as I can decide which ones I want.

For you guys that have headers:

Whats the deal with the warranty on the car once you get them? I'm not getting a dealership to put them on, taking it to somewhere locally.

Thanks!

I will post my review on Friday nite/saturday...

Congrats... I still can't decide if I want to drop the cash on them... I'm looking forward to your Review!!

You should try to time your car 0-60, 0-100, etc before you get them put on, then clock it again to see the difference.

I'm buying used ones, that only have a few thousand miles on them.

$500 plus $200 to install.

The warranty will not cover problems caused by a bad install (or part). The headers are from Comptech and not difficult to install.

If the local shop is good, I don't think you have much to worry about. (except for more power):P

Yah, getting it done over at Vertex in Tysons. Should be fine. I hear they do good work.

I get an oil change on Saturday, and I'm wondering what the bastards at the dealership are gonna say about it...

Please post a detailed review of the headers (pros and cons) because I am debating if it's worth $1200 w/o install!

Hopefully I can get a good deal like you somewhere. So does anybody want to sell me their used but still good headers?

I'll tell you right now without even testing them out,

THERE IS NO FUCKING WAY that the Comptech Headers are worth $1200.!!!

And I'd never pay that much for them.

So stop debating, and don't waste your $$$.

You shouldn't have any problems with the warranty. Get out on that toll road and open it up From 5500 to redline you know they are there

i have a cl-s with i/h/e, it was at the dealer for the last 3 days. during this time i was driving an '02 tl-s loaner. let me tell you, the headers make a huge difference, especially coupled w/ a cai. my car feels much faster than stock throughout the rpm range, especially in vtec.

Yah, I bet the exhaust really helps to open it up better too. Did you feel like you could totally smash the tl-s?

I can't wait! I'm counting the hours! I'm only 27 hours away now!

THANKS!!!

Yessur. me and my buddy are meeting up tomorrow before the install to do some clocking.

I'll post my full review as soon as I get in front of a computer after the install.
