Headers

Are comptech headers a lot better than everything else? Or is there another company with close to the same quality and cheaper price?

ssautochrome.com...for the price difference they are much better than comptech. There are quite a few members here who have them and have nothing but good to say. However, Comptech is proven these are not. Time will tell though. I will probably get some sometime in the near future.

i wouldn't say they are much better than ct's, but def a better $$$ to HP gain ratio. the ct's will get you a little more hp so to say the xs is much better...

Is the HP gain difference not minimal my friend? We are talking less than 10 HP's are you going to notice that?

Some people have made this claim that the CT headers make more power. Do we have any dyno sheets to actually prove this or is it hearsay?

Those CT numbers are based on their own dyno testing. Most manufacturers also tune the car after installing their aftermarket parts to post the highest numbers they can. I haven't seen any independent dynos showing numbers that high.
