header turn goldish?

header turn goldish?
hello guy i was wonder if there is any thing worng wit my obx header that i just buought..ok it turn brownish or goldish. i got the dealership to install it for me any help it good thank you

Supposedly you can bring it to normal op temp the first time then let it cool down completely and it'll preserve the color. I did that and mine still turned crappy color. Still works like a charm, though.

When I had a 95 Eclipse GSX, after 2 hrs of freeway driving the header would be glowing red from the turbo's heat. Could have a weenie roast on that thing.
