header install

Well, since I'm putting in a CAI, and Headers hopefully next week. I decided to call my dealership and see how much it would cost to have the headers installed.

They quoted $170! Is this pretty close to what everone else has paid? I have an appt. next friday with them now, for $170 I'll let them do the headers.

Props to "Superior Acura" Best dealer I have ever been too. Definetly get all of my future business.

I just got my headers installed last week and it is great. You will love it.

BTW, that $170 for headers installation is a steal. I got mine done for a little more than that.

peiqinglong, if u still want to have this stuff done, PM Moomaster99 or myself. You can have work done by the same person that does work on our cars up here. Cee el es, Moomaster99 and bobowah as well as others will vouch for his work and it will NOT be 700 bucks

Let me know.

$170 is a very good deal IMO. I paid $250 for my install at an Acura Dealership in Denver, and wasn't too disappointed with that price honestly.

Thank you HellaWhat, but actually I had my CAI installed already. I ended up having my friend do it for me. He is also installing my springs after the BBQ Saturday also! So unfortunately I won't have the springs on in time for the BBQ, but I do have the CAI! But thanks for the offer...I would probably consider it once I get the headers.

DAMN! That's a bargain!

John Eagle quoted me $400

That's one reason I was thinking I'd just do it myself.

Got my headers, used with 8K miles on them, for $500, $300 for install, and $200 for the AEM CAI, so yeah, you are on track!

$170 US is expensive. IMO

my mechanic is quoting me $200 CDN (negotiable of course) which is approx 125$ USD.. i can probably bring em down to.. 170$CDN..

if someone quoted me $600US for install ill just point and laugh at them like they were on crack and walk away..

huh, cool

Dealership mechanic? or just some shops mechanic? I'm sure I could find some mechanic to do it cheap too. Just wouldn't have a lot of benefits.

I would just do it myself if I went that route...
