My dealer (Park Ave) has a sign up that says a free wash and vacuum is included with your service, and that if you do not want it done to simply inform them of that....

Yea i tell my dealer not to wash the car, and by now they remember so i dont have to tell them. I still remind them thou. Id rather not wait an extra 20 minutes for them to wash it anyways. I dont trust those dirty ass towels they use. Theyll scratch your shit.

YES! from now on I always tell them not to wash it unless they're going to dry it in the shade.

I went once to the dealer for service when my car was brand new... I will never go back again unless there is a 100% chance that they will listen to me........

I always ask them NOT to wash it. They even give me the free car wash coupons after each car service, but i will never use them due to their dirty towels they used the first time i took in for service.

When I was just a little grasshopper, I had a job washing cars at an Acura dealership (Acura of Seattle ) for NW peeps. I've always obsessed over cars so I was very careful when I washed customer's rides. But, we had 3 lot attendants and the other two didn't give a crap about the cars. They may have changed the water in their bucket after 5-10 cars!
