-where is the anterena on the 2001 3.2cl type s????

- is it illegel without a front plate in new york city????i think the car will look so much better without a front plate... but will i get a ticket??also is there holes to hold the plate??or what holds it??

 

someone correct me if I am wrong, but the antenna is on the middle of the rear window.
I wondered the same thing before!!

I think the antenna is on both the front windshield, behind the mirror and on the rear window. I think it's very cool setup, easy with carwashes and less likely to break otherwise.

You're perfectly right, the antennae is in the top back portion of the rear window...my tinter was paranoid about damaging it

The stripes on your winshield and rear shield are the antennas. If you get the CL with a Navi the antenna is graphed along the rear seat windows... Cool idea by Acura, but almost every car now has graphed antennas.. Reason being is that everything is going digital.. Long antennas are only good for analog signals.. Check out my ride, I have an antenna for my Phone kit, but it is only there for when I drive through analog networks... Digital networks and stations fine tunes everything so you unit increases its strength to place a lock on it.

They are stamped on....that's why the guys who were tinting my car kept telling me...it's a gamble on the antenna area...the bumpy part on the rear window...it isn't a super-clean tint like other cars....
