Not sure if I'm reading right! The CL S has 260 hp yet all the dyno's I have read on this site are around 200hp! I'm familiar with parasitic loss but this seems a bit much! Please Advise!

260hp at the crank...

200hp at the wheels...

Really not that bad a number... gotta consider the heavy ass wheels... slush box... etc. They rape a lot of power that hits the ground.

Like Soopa said, 260hp at the crank. You have to figure in the typical 15%-25% hp loss in the tranny and you're around 200 wheel hp. The CL is around 20%, so it's in the middle of the average range.....

Where do you get 20% from? My math says 30%! Sounds like Acura has a problem with the rating ie 1999 Mustang Cobra

30%?? How did you arrive at that #??
Here's my before and after header dyno showing a ~23.5% loss at the wheels (198.8hp).

Silly me I just did 30 x 200 to arrive at 260 not realizing you work down Oh well still seems a bit high! especially for a front wheel drive car! Also from your dyno it seems that the factory headers are a big bottleneck!

Its normal...figure an Integ GS-R with 170 loses almost 30hp. Most GS-Rs base at 142 at the wheel...makes most of their owners cry too.
