Post Has anyone tried using the manifold from a 2005 + Odyssey ?

Ok here is the deal, I work at a local Honda dealer here in Virginia. Recently we replaced an engine on a 06 Honda Odyssey and I was able to salvage the manifold that appears to be along the lines off the newer type of manifold that honda offers. Here is a few pictures and let me know if anyone has used this manifold on the J32A2.

I tried searching but only came up with the ones from the 09 + TL SH AWD.

Just to see if anyone else did this, I recently installed some new Enkei wheels on my girls car and acquired her stock wheels from her 2010 TSX V6

dont think the rims will fit ur cl. i think the 2010 tsx is 5x120. i could be wrong though

that manifold looks alot like the 04-06 base tl manifold. dont think ur gonna gain anything. might actually lose some power bc of no imrc

The intake manifold does have the imrc its on the top cover like the 08 + Accords & the 09 + TL's.

The wheels are 5x114.3
I was just seeing if anybody has put these on yet. They are 18x8

The other thing I noticed is that this manifold has the iat on the manifold unlike the 09 + TL's.

lol thats cool man, im just seeing if anybody has used it yet. If not im gonna go ahead and try it to see if it makes a difference.

But one problem im running into is my throttle body will not just bolt up. I did test fit a J30A4 throttle body off a 05 V6 Accord and it does bolt dirrectly up. Where do I find the correct throttle body adapter for our cars.

This is the light magnesium one as well right? Let us know how it works.

You could contact Sean at P2R directly for the adapter.
I believe Excelerate and Throwdown Performance sell it as well.

Its not magnesium, Its aluminum.
I test fitted a throttle body from an 05 Accord V6 (J30A4) and it fits perfect, but the problem with that is its drive by wire.

I went on P2R's website and saw that they list adapter's for J32A2's to J37A4 (P383)

Also they list adapters for 03-10 Accords & 04-08 TL's to use the 09 + TL SH throttle body (P384)

My question is do they offer an adapter for the J32A2 to J35A7 ?

IIRC, that manifold is very similar to the 7th gen Accord manifold. No substantial gain to be seen.

If you take a closer look its actually different than the 7th gen. Its a 2 piece design like the 09 TL SH also has the butterflies just like the 09 TL SH

The 8th gen manifold is similar to the 09 TL SH, same cast but no butterflies.

I need to order the adapter so that I can give this a try.

The 6MT Accord has the IMRC. The VSA equipped automatics do not.
