Has anyone been disappointed with Zaino ZFX?
I just finished my first car wash & polish with Zaino products. I spent just a little over $150 to get all their products I felt I needed, and for the most part, I think the money was well-invested. After the claying and ONE coat of Z5 wax, my car looked awesome, and I was very impressed with the quality and ease of application and removal of said products.
If there's one thing, however, for which I'm NOT completely confident that I got my money's worth, it's the ZFX miracle additive that Zaino is now selling for $20 and which I bought at the recommendation of several regulars here. When I got my package via UPS, I was very surprised that the primary ingredient in the ZFX product is AIR...that's right...AIR!!!
It came with four 2oz bottles and a tiny blue-liquid-filled dropper bottle that's about two-thirds the size of my pinky finger.
Well, to make a long story short, I used the recommended amount of the stuff on my car, and everything came out great. The only problem I have is that it doesn't look like there's even enough ZFX in that little dropper thingy to last through the contents of my Z5, let alone my Z5 PLUS my Z2. How long does the stuff last for you guys, and do you feel like Zaino is taking advantage of us with the super-high price of the product? I mean, seriously, I've never heard of a chemical THAT expensive.
Can someone enlighten me, please?

That little tiny bottle will last quite a long time (two or three Z5 bottles worth). But I know what you mean, it does look very small.
It is worth EVERY penny if you have ever had to do it the "old" way (Z1, wait, Z5, WAIT, Z5)... True that it is a bit expensive, and most likely a high profit item, but I do not know how much research went into it (compared to unit #'s)...
You would think that over time, the price should go down though, but I still think this is the best sh!t ever (even @ $20)...

Yea, every ZFX kit is shipped with a half-full (or half empty?
) bottle of ZFX. I usually do 3 coats in a day so I fill up about 1/2 of one of the mixing bottles full of either Z2 or Z5, add 3 or so drops, shake for a minute, and there is enough Zaino for 3 coats and sometimes even more for windows, glass, rims, etc..
There is supposedly 80-100 drops worth of ZFX in that little vial.

I actually Z2'd my car today....I was planning on doing 2 more coats but my car was outside and it started to rain :o
I ended up discarding the rest of the Z2-ZFX mixture..what a waste![Whine](https://acurazine.com/forums/images/smilies/whine.gif)
but that ZFX stuff is great...if you lay it down as thin as you're supposed to then there's no reason the first panel shouldn't be cured by the time you're done your car. It was for me and there was like 100% humidity today![Big Grin](https://acurazine.com/forums/images/smilies/biggrin.gif)
oh, and my car is WDP
