Hairy seats

Does anyone else, beside me, have the "hairy seat" problem? For those that do not know what I am talking about:

I was recently sitting in the back of our CL-S and noticed some strings coming up but nothing as bad as what you have ... I do recall someone on here saying that they actually had the dealer replace their seats it got so bad

A couple of suggestions:

Wear a shirt when you drive.

Electrolysis?

Take the keys away from the sasquatch.

My seats got hairy after a few weeks and then the hair disappeared a few weeks latter.

It's the car that has the hairy seats, not me! The problem is that they are in the back and no one ever sits back there. The fronts are fine. Butt traffic wears them off. I'll hafta think about electrolysis. I showed them to Wayne Gruen at Park Avenue Acura and he never seen anything like it and was going to call the Acura rep.

I'll guess I'll get out the straight razor!

Yeah, I got those too. I think on the back seats as well. I am kinda getting tired of all the details that are wrong with this car. I am not happy about the million paint chips I have and my windown does not go all the way when i press auto-down. For a 30k car I have visited the dealer way too many times. Done with venting.

Let us know what wayne finds out.

I find that the switch is very sensitive. If you touch it for more than a second it assumes you don't want it down all the way and stops. So I literally just touch it for auto down. Now auto-up... that would be a nice feature!

No problem with hairy seats here. Well at least not that I've noticed. But of course, I have the parchment interior.

Yeah, auto-up. If a child is sticking his/her head out of the window and accidentally hit the auto-up button. I bet it wouldnt be a nice picture.

[/B][/QUOTE]

Cars that already have the auto-up feature (like the new TL-S) have a safety cutoff where the window stops if there is any obstruction.
