Lets see thats 4.6 hp multiply that by 1.3 million cars and that= one bigeek ! (5.98 million extra horses---u sure could beat alot of civics w/that much power )

(p.s. WAIT!, u'd still lose to the civic b/c of all the horsepower adding stickers it would probably have )

HAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!!!!!! Hyundai's SUCK!!!!!!!!!!! My g/f has an Elantra and it sucks sooooooooo bad. My car is doing 100 before hers hits 60, it is sooo slow, forget 140 or 135 hp, it's more like 35 hp, I think they took the engine out of my old lawnmower. What is worse than her car? the Accent's with coffee can mufflers and stickers, and don't even get me started on Saturn........

That seems to be a trend. FORD SVT got caught doing the same thing. They said the 99 COBRA had 320 hp, but several law suites later they admitted it didn't. However, FORD SVT did the right thing and fixed their problem at little or no cost to the owner.

what could people possibly sue for?? i mean the lack of that extra 5-10 HP doesnt HURT them in anyway...i think its total bullshit... i mean seriously, the fucking CL-S is probably overstating its HP!!! i swear to god my 95 v6 camaro with the 3.4 liter 170hp was just as fast as my CL-S....seriously.....who cares if they upped the HP numbers by 5-10 on a few cars...its not like people buy an elantra for fucking PERFORMANCE!!! its a cheap sedan, not for speed or racing or anything....this isnt going to do anything to Hynduai, seriously, its just stupid public relations bullshit...personally, i think Hyndai has come a long way in the last 5 years....im sorry, but that new Tiburon is fucking cool looking, sure, its not as fast as our cars, not by a long shot, but ill tell you one thing, if i ever couldnt afford my CL-S anymore, or needed to sell it for some reason, the first car id buy would be a fully loaded new Tib. GT... that car easily has just as good of styling, if not better styling than the CL, RSX, Accord, Integra, Maxima, Altima, etc...i just think its pretty ghey to bash Hyundai for this, its not like its something seriouis like wheels falling off for 10 years or engines exploding or gas tanks exploding..its just some HP...and not that much either...not like Ford saying its cobra has 320 when it actually had like 280

 

That's really too bad.
I like the direction Hyundai has been going and its unfortunate to see them in troubles.

I still wouldn't buy one, but I think they look good on the road, I like what they are doing with warranties.
