Smile H*E*L*P* -Brake Problems

I search every "brakes and Brake Line” post and I got close but not certain about my problem, so sorry if repost. I need HUGE help on this ...got no warranty so gotta fix it myself. One day out of the blue my car's brake is not the same anymore. The brake petal was boggy and stiff and it took a lot of effort to push it in a few (1-2) inches and the car kinda drifted to a stop. The ABS is working properly, but is this stiff pedal feeling got me nuts. From what I read it may be the brake line. I got this car just a couple of months ago with 75K miles on it and is in great condition all around and mechanically. Please I need serious advice since I don't want to go guessing what it could be. This is my every-day-car so discard any comments on vacuum stuff.

Please take a minute to help me out here......

Might be your master cylinder. Go check your brake fluid and make sure its at the proper level. Usually that happens when the vacuum for the master cylinder is disconnected or has a leak. Basically it means your brakes dont work. Go check the hose that connects from the master cylinder to some sort of vacuum. Make sure its connected and it doesnt have any tears or holes in it... Good luck
