Im going to pickup a ballst for my 01 cl-s.... Im getting it for pretty cheap so it has me leary..... What can I do to make sure that it works when I go to pick it up....Im gonna pay cash for it so once I leave with it Im stuck (working or not). What can I do to make sure it working anything I can buy at radio shack or autozone

 

As far as I know the best way to test it is to plug it in to a power source & bulb.

If it were me, I'd just take my front bumper off before going over then when I got there just take out the head light assembly and swap them right there to make sure the light fires up.
