GS400?
GS400?
I stopped at a red light. Next to me was a GS400. At green, he sped off ahead of me but slowed down to wait for me. I was not planning on chasing him or anything but he kept on moving ahead and slowing down...etc.
Anyways, the question is who's faster? What is 0-60 for this car? Just curious if I could have played along.

I believe a stock GS400 will do the 0-60 in ~5.9 seconds so you'd better have headers and a cai (or at least one of the two) if you want to play.

arer u actually askin that question seriously. the gs400 has a 4.0 litter V8 in it and yeh we have a 3.2 liter v6, that car would burn us a new asshole. i love that car and wanted it soo badly, but it was way to far out of my price range and if i can get a hold of one after my cl-s, i will, but if not, i will be very happy with either the new 2002 tl-s or maybe a mdx if a type s version was to arrive or maybe ill just get the new 270hp nissan maxima, what do u think about that.
nah, just kiddin, unless it is much better then the tl-s i will be ridin my cl-s back to acura and takin another one home.

actually, you would have a good shot..
the GS weighs more than our car, and only has about the same HP @ the wheels that we do stock...with CAI and or Headers you'll be right there with it...but it the GS has an exhaust it might have about 246HP @ the wheels which is still not THAT much more given that it is heavier...
also our SS transmission is MUCH better than theirs...
next time, give it a shot, you'd prolly surprise both yourself and the GS driver...
