Grounding Kit install weird?????

Hey whats up guys...

check this out. I've had this kit for awhile now but when installing it, I'm running into something slightly different from what I've seen on everyone else's install...

in this thread, the 2nd picture that mr222 posts showing the abs. Its very easy to get to that screw as you can see in his picture.
http://www.acura-cl.com/forums/showt...t&pagenumber=5

below is a picture I took of mine. I would basically have to remove it to get to the screw and wondering if there would be room...or is this different or the same with others..
http://f2.pg.photos.yahoo.com/ph/dav...m=100_0444.jpg

any help would be apreciated guys...

thanks

Grounding kits? Is this the same as butterfly milk? Some people have too damn much money and like to spend it on pretty stuff that is ABSOLUTLY WORTHLESS. Those Jap engineers have no idea how to design a electrical system. Hell, over beers in a garage a couple of guys can put together some connectors and heavy gage wire in pretty colors and get smoother shifting and at least 5-10 moer HP. (might even make your sex life better )
That sure made me feel better

I agree....
I think the grounding kit adds about as much Horsepower as a Type-R sticker does.

i feel the only benefit is if your oem stuff is in bad shape and ur getting feedback in ur audio equip. better connectors and wires cant hurt but $80 is nuts. just pick the wire and connectors up urself. it would cost $40 at most

Yeah the only reason I let the guy use my car to test fit it was because I got a set for free. I didnt think it would do any good except for if you have an after market sound system and you are getting some noise in it. I couldnt tell a difference with these wires...but I also didnt pay for em

do a seach on grounding kits and you'll see the same info repeated over and over again.

grounding kits don't do much for cars that aren't heavily tuned. so if you only have intake headers exhaust and stuff you'll only see a couple hp at most.

but put a grounding kit in a highly tuned car which has a turbo or sc and heavy engine mods and you'll see the grounding kit make differences of over 10hp in most cases, sometimes more.

but if you are trying to squeeze as much power out of our cars as you can, and if the mod is cheap, hey why not, it's not like we have all the options that other cars have.

GK

engine bay feng shui. – that was very funny!!! I am going to use that one!

It was never really a question of horse power increase. The most obvious benefit with the Z is smoother idle and improved throttle response.

I mean, who can tell an increase of 1 or 2 HP via a butt dyno???

NOLACL’s kit was R&D. It was a shot. I gave him a kit in return for the experience of fitting an Acura. No promises were made.

Anyway, take it for what it is…

I do appreciate everyone’s interests and opinions. This is what the forums are all about!
